Months of Expansion

Wow! It has been a while since I have updated my blog. No  excuses – just other priorities. I wanted to let you all know that I will be at the Christmas Lavender Faire on December 1st at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction. The hours are 9 am to 5 pm….This Faire was originally at the Mesa County Fair Grounds. I am not exactly sure what prompted the change but it will be more centrally located!
The last few months have proven to be months of expansion for FluffiLuff. More retailers coming on board and more product development and study. It has been a challenge sometimes to juggle all of that but its a good thing. I always strive to live in the possibilities and I think this next year will be one filled with operational changes.
I would like to invite you to come and peek in at the developments in my product line. Favorites are still in play. The packaging might vary a little. A few new aromatherapy products have been added: Two flavors of Lip Balms – Lavender Mint and Lavender Vanilla. One is more directed toward healing chapped lips and the other toward the pursuit of plumping! As a part of our line Baby Your Baby we have introduced a new product called Lullaby Lavender Mist. It is a great way to freshen surfaces, linens and air without chemicals. Handmade paper Sachets for closets and drawers! Our Shower Steamers in a Four-Scent assortment! Travel Sized Sweet Dreams and Lavender Mist… the list goes on!
To our spiritual line of products I have also  added a little bottle with Frankincense and Myrrh with a beautiful hand cast 24K button. This comes with or without anointing oil. The research on this was enlightening! While we most associate these from the Biblical story of the birth of Jesus, these gifts had been traditionally given to kings at the start of their reign. The first notation in the written record comes from 243 BC when an earthly king made a gift of these to the god Apollo. These three items are rich with symbolism. Gold considered incorruptible, untarnishable and eternal. These properties translate into constancy, permanence, and honesty. Gold is viewed as the symbol for truth and the eternal source of an individual’s spiritual essence. Frankincense is the an aromatic resin that symbolizes resilience, strength, endurance and sovereignty. Used for centuries and across civilizations in religious practice, it has the profound effect of helping us to focus on spiritual consciousness. Myrrh  is another aromatic resin that was revered for its medicinal uses. It was also widely used in embalming practices in ancient times. Spiritually, it was thought to assist the spirit in its transition to heaven. Anointing Oil is included. The use of anointing oil in spiritual context is to be made sacred. This 5/8 dram contains Frankincense, Myrrh and olive oil. The resins can be used as incense. All in all it is an ancient reminder of the things that provide a connection to the greatest mysteries of life.
I have always been drawn to those things we can’t quite explain and have a mystical and divine quality. I continue to seek out, study and contemplate.
I hope to see you at the show but if you don’t make it I wish you all the blessings of the season. Make it a good one! Brenn
